The story behind the picture
As mentioned before, Peter had the idea of a homage to Robert Palmer’s »Addicted To Love« music clip. By taken the women and their style and putting them into an anime setting that can remind of 80s animes, like »City Hunter« or »Rock’n’Roll Kids«.
For sure »Addicted To Love« is a groovy song, but thats not exactly what Peter does. His kind of music can be found in the »Indy Italo Disco« scene. Here is a small appetizer:
Peter also wished to put in a personal note into the artwork. So I came up with a pinch of heavy metal, manifested in the red haired women with the falshy guitar.
